Things to do in Belize

Despite its compact nature, Belize offers a huge range of activities and attractions. Home to the second-longest barrier reef in the world, it’s an incredible place to dive or snorkel due to its warm Caribbean waters and abundant marine life.

Inland, the lush subtropical forest plays host to colourful wildlife and relics of ancient civilisations. Archaeological sites such Actun Tunichil Muknal Cave with its skeletons, ceramics and stoneware, the ancient ceremonial site at Xunantunich and Caracol, the largest Maya archaeological site in Belize, are atmospheric places to visit and offer an insight into the great civilisation that once ruled the region.
