Harmony Boutique Hotel

Harmony Boutique Hotel

Mykonos, Greece

This small, boutique property is set over a number of levels in a traditional whitewashed Myconian building with cheerful blue doors and rails on the many balconies. Verdant cacti and other plants offer fresh touches around the connecting corridors and staircases, while outside, there’s an inviting pool overlooking the seafront.

Inside, the hotel is modern and minimalist. The main lounge and dining area, just off reception, is decorated in a chic but casual style with white furnishings, driftwood sculptures and plush cushions. The 22 rooms are similar in style but simpler with comfortable and tasteful decor, white tiled floors and modern bathrooms.

The hotel also has a small spa offering a variety of treatments and a large, well-equipped gym. The poolside restaurant serves a wide range of Greek and Mediterranean dishes, though if you prefer not to dine at the hotel, the property’s location overlooking the old port means it’s an easy walk along the coast into the heart of Mykonos town.

OUR OPINION:

Rooms

The 22 rooms are mostly distinguished by the view — either onto other areas of the hotel, the hotel’s garden, or the sea. While some of the lead-in rooms are relatively small in size, they all offer a pleasant terrace area with a table and chairs. Decor is simple yet tasteful throughout with a predominantly white palette accented by pale blues and greys and light woods. Superior rooms are more stylish and offer a bit more space, and all rooms feature free Wi-Fi and air conditioning.

Location

The property is situated at the north end of Mykonos Town within an easy walk of the main streets of shops, bars and restaurants. It sits overlooking the old port and the sea, allowing guests to enjoy sea views and watch boats come and go throughout the day, yet is far enough from the heart of town to be well removed from any crowds.

Food and drink

The main dining area of the hotel is a small yet stylish space adjacent to the pool where a buffet breakfast is served in the morning, with an à la carte menu of Greek and Mediterranean dishes for lunch and dinner. The pool bar serves cocktails and light snacks throughout the day and has music and a livelier atmosphere in the evenings.

Facilities and activities

The hotel’s pool area, while on the small side, offers sweeping views out to sea. There is a large gym on a lower floor, and a small spa which consists of a treatment room and sauna.

Accessibility

A unique glass elevator accesses most areas of the hotel, and two rooms are specifically designed for guests with mobility difficulties.
