Itinerary idea in detail

Includes international flights from a choice of UK airports, including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

  • Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Maun.

  • On arrival at Maun Airport, you will be met and assisted with your bags across the tarmac to your light aircraft, which will fly you across the Delta to the private Khwai Reserve. You should arrive in time to enjoy an afternoon or evening wildlife viewing activity.

  • You can enjoy various activities at Sable Alley, including morning and afternoon safaris and guided bush walks. Two safari activities are available each day — one in the early morning and the second in the late afternoon. After your morning safari excursion, you will return to the lodge for a filling breakfast. Enjoy resting and watching the wildlife around the camp in the heat of the day before heading out on a second safari in the late afternoon. As the sun sets, you'll also get a chance to see some nocturnal animals on your drive before returning to camp.

  • Enjoy one last morning safari from Sable Alley before being taken deep into the reserve for a night under the stars at Skybeds. Your “room” here is on the top floor of a three-storey raised platform overlooking a busy waterhole. A night here just might be the wildest night of safari you've ever experienced.

  • After your morning game excursion, you will take a short scenic flight across the Okavango Delta to the Linyanti Wetlands, where you will spend the next three nights. When you arrive, you will have time to enjoy lunch and get settled into your tent before heading out on an afternoon safari.

  • Enjoy morning and afternoon safaris, motorboat excursions, mokoro canoe trips, and nature walks along the Linyanti River with your expert guide.

  • Another full day of activities awaits you. While there is plenty of large wildlife in the area, it's well worth taking the opportunity to notice the smaller things while enjoying the wetland style of safari. Animal tracks, plant life, smaller creatures, and insects are all things that can all too easily be overlooked when on safari, but they help you understand the interconnectedness of the ecosystem.

  • After a leisurely breakfast, you will take your final light aircraft flight to Kasane. On arrival, you will be transferred across the Zambezi River into Zambia and to Waterberry Lodge. Explore the falls from different viewpoints and close up to the edge. And to enjoy the lodge’s Zambezi location, watching hippos graze the banks and birds drink on the wing.

  • Spend the day enjoying activities from Waterberry Lodge. Included in the price of your stay are guided trips to Victoria Falls, trips to markets and museums, morning and afternoon safari in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, morning and sunset boat cruises, guided canoe trips, fishing trips and picnics on an island in the river.

  • Today you can enjoy more of the activities from Waterberry. You may choose to cap off your trip with a special walking safari in search of white rhino. With conservation at the heart of this experience, you will learn about the staggering amount of anti-poaching work that goes into protecting these magnificent creatures as you make your way on foot through Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park.

  • After breakfast, you will be transferred to Livingstone Airport for your onward travel arrangements.

  • Arrive home today to complete your journey.
