Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Hanoi.

On arrival in Hanoi, you will be met and transferred to your city hotel.

Discover Hanoi with your guide, taking a cyclo tour around the maze that is the old quarter area, and strolling through the charming French colonial district.

Day at leisure before you take the overnight train to Sapa in the Tonkinese Alps and spend two full days exploring the area's mountain walks and villages.

Today you arrive in the town of Lao Cai, located just two kilometres from the border with China, where you will be met and transferred to the pretty mountain town of Sapa.

Today you embark on a trek through the minority villages within the area. En route, you are treated to some stunning scenery.

Today you depart Sapa and drive south along one of the most scenic stretches of road in Asia to Mu Cang Chai. There will be ample opportunity to stop off en route before arriving at your simple homestay in Nghia Lo.

This morning you depart Nghia Lo and journey on to Hanoi and the airport for your flight south to Dong Hoi. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to the edge of the Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park and your accommodation.

Today, you start the six-hour trek to Hang En, also known as Swallow Cave. The journey takes you through rural villages, rivers, and jungle to the endpoint and Hang En, the world's third-largest known cave. Spend the afternoon exploring the cave network, and you will stay overnight in a tent.

This morning you will visit the Exit Cave before breakfast, and then continue to explore the caves. You depart camp in the morning on the trek back to the main road. This afternoon you return to the coast for your accommodation where you can freshen up.

Leaving Dong Hoi you continue south with your driver to the old capital of Hue, arriving early afternoon. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Enjoy a full day exploring Hue, with time on the Perfume River and visiting the Citadel.

Today you travel to Hoi An, stopping en route at Bach Ma National Park to enjoy some great trekking.

Full day at leisure.

On the second day in Hoi An, either head to the beach or visit some of the great tailors in town.

Travel south to Ho Chi Minh City, with the chance to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels before you have the remainder of the day to see the city.

Final day at leisure before your flight home. Your return flight will arrive the same day.
